Wiccan Wands

Looking for a new wand for your next ritual? Look no further? I have wands handmade out of Mesquite wood. These are made from branches trimmed from my Mesquite tree during the day of a full moon, while the tree is thanked and blessed for providing the wood for me. They are then allowed to age 3 - 6 months, then I begin making them. I will have unpeeled and peeled wands available. All have copper wrappings, either an amethyst or quartz point tip in them. Some have leather or suede accents, some are vegan and have thread, copper wire, and hemp accents. Unlike other wand makers, I can't walk through a forest and look for dead fall to make wands out of. I live in the desert in Nevada. Instead, I trim my trees twice a year, thank them and praise them, and keep any branches that I can make into wands and altar bells.

There might be some purists that say using "cut" wood for a wand is wrong, but I feel intent is a big deal. My poor trees were in sad shape when I bought my property 5 years ago. They were covered in Mistletoe that was killing them, and I had to prune them way back to help them out. I care for them, water them, and enjoy them.

Now, my trees are healthy, happy, and beautiful. I have families of birds that call them home, even a hummingbird family. I would never have the incredibly thankful relationship with a piece of deadfall that I do with the branches from my trees. Mesquite wood is a healing wood, and is very strong, it is stronger than a lot of hardwoods and ranks with Walnut in hardness. These are wands made to last for years to come.
